Race 6
$20 win #1 Practical Way 10-1
Horse won last out, off a three month layoff, in a deep close fashion. I’m thinking the horse wasn’t quite ready despite the win, so might be sharper today. Perhaps a bit closer to the pace, stalk and pounce style. Trainer usually bombs one or two out per meet.

Race 9
$20 win #1 Jassai 10-1
$2 exbx 1-2

Ochoa barn still rolling, with another win earlier in the week. Can he keep it up? Price will be worth it if he does.

Gulf Race 4
$20 win #7 Moon Factor 15-1
Ochoa takes a swing at some higher purses in Gulf. Worth a twenty in my opinion.

Way to go RD. I got tied up and wasn't able to check the races out.Of course one of my horses I was following won at 7-2 at Fairgrounds with Santana up & I would have played that Ochoa horse for sure.SHIT

Caught an interview with trainer Tony Wilson last meet. I was very impressed by his game planning. He started off slow last meet, so I bailed on him. Of course, he lit it up the rest of the way. He’s started off slow again this meet, but I’m not falling for it this time. Some big Tampa names in this race, so I’m expecting an odds drift.

Ochoa is rolling. Does it stop? I’m betting no. He hasn’t had his “super bomb” yet, and he’s got horses in his barn that should be cycling into form, including today’s two.

I don’t recall Ferrer ever riding for Ochoa. Then last week, they score together at 23-1. Could be a potent new combo.
