Rarick (Race 4) usually bombs one out once a meet. She hasn’t done it yet so I expect it to happen in the next 30 days.
Padilla (Race 8) started hot, cooled off in the middle. So I’m expecting his barn to round into form on the way out of town….

FYI, Ochoa won race 6 today at 20-1. Had a small win bet, but it was unposted so doesn’t count against the figure. That’s over $90 in mutuals the last two weeks. Fucker is gonna finish with positive ROI again. Ignore at your own risk!

FYI, Keeneland starts today, for those that are interested. I would suggest downloading the Keeneland Race Day App. It’s the best one out there for free live video, in my opinion.

Ochoa won Race 1, paying $32.40. Survived a nonsense objection, to boot. Got blanked the rest of the way.

While it’s great to finally knock something off the figure, it’s annoying to finally connect on a long shot winner yet get shut-out in the exotics.

Wilson has not duplicated his monster meet from last year. He was one of the trainers I was looking to capitalize on from the start, but it hasn’t materialized. He hasn’t started many, either. I’m betting that he grabs a couple W’s before heading back to his Monmouth base in May.

Carvajal used to be a major player here, campaigning sprint champ Imperial Hint. Doesn’t show up that often but I doubt he forgot how to train. Has two entered here, went with the long one.
