My strategy has always been "go for the win". The way I played it out was the best way statistically to catch him. I ran several different model scenarios to see which option gave me the best chance to finish 1st. This was it. It has worked perfectly so far.

I'm only 3.05 behind Bigjay now. I was over 9 units behind before (then 6 units when you made an adjustment to his score). That's pretty good progress, in my opinion, towards my goal of winning.

Although there were several times I wanted to explain what I was doing to alleviate your concerns in the thread but, I couldn't very well spell out my strategy on the forum in advance now could I? As a gambler I would expect you could see that.

You're a respected poster and I really enjoyed the dialog with you over the years but, I'm disappointed in how you've handled this.

u had 5 games left and ur telling me instead of picking a guy each game the best way to win was do nothing and have it all up to 1 last play where u would need to WIN and then need help by jays guy losing and broncos guy losing, no fuking way when u had easy picks in game 4 and 5 with vlad who u have picked alot u tanked on purpose because u don't like me ending the contest by giving jay 1st place and forcing broncos to decide either not pick like u were doing to stay in second or risk that by trying to win, u got 5 chances for the endzone and ur going to wait til the last chance to win, u got 5 swings to hit a homerun and ur going to skip 4 of them to wait for the last one, no fuking chance that is the best chance of winning

Cincy, I wish you wouldn't be so upset about this. I have to believe there is a gambler in you that sees the logic in my strategy. If you do the math on the possible outcomes, this was the best path to winning it all.

I've tried to explain it to you reasonably. I think your emotions are overcoming your willingness to see this logically. And as far as being concerned about $200, maybe you've missed the fact that I actually sponsor contests on BMR with prizes more than that. $200 (or even $600) isn't relevant to my bankroll.

I am trying to recall over the last 20 years, have we ever seen a "crash out" from a poster like this? Posters have done some scandalous things but this has to be close to the top, if not #1. The $ part is completely Irrelevant, it is the behavior and how this even came to be. If this is from alcohol, drugs or maybe emotional problems or a combination of all , we clearly have witnessed a real life "crash out" on BMR. I really can't recall anything like this happening before.
