Update: Situation was Resolved with the help of Dave Mason @DaveMasonBOL and Mark in security. I don't feel like it is necessary to elaborate in great detail, but a second security review did reveal a login from a device that clearly did not belong to me. The alleged login which I referenced was indeed not in the login history. I am not in the business of speaking for against gambling sites, I will leave that to others on this site. However, it is comforting to know that if you have a legitimate issue, there are higher ups at BetOnline like Dave Mason and Mark who are willing to listen to your concerns and sort through facts to understand the full picture.

Very good news.

Glad to hear you have your money. (y)

Fantastic. Yes, BetOnline always makes good on these situations. Sucks there was a mistake in their initial investigation, causing everyone more stress But at least it was taken care of in the end.

Why would anyone play at betonline? This has happened at least 20 times over two years that I know about. It’s obviously an inside job.

I have helped a lot of people with this problem, and I still can't say if it is a staff member.

It seems more likely to be a vandal/hacker who has found a way to target BOL accounts to me.

Do you realize many more people get themselves hacked and balances donked off in the casino at mainstream licensed books than Betonline?

But virtually ZERO of them get made good again.

Ya know why?

Because they fear people like you saying "See that confirms they are at fault or have a security problem" so phukk whether the player is an innocent victim or not.

Betonline have made peoples balances good even when it was determined the player themselves let themselves be hacked.

You can trust them to act fairly 10x more than you could any big name book.

I reiterate:

1. Turn off the Casino if you aren't going to play it
2. Change your password often
3. Turn on 2 Factor Auth.

And in the event that those three safeguards fail, you are in good hands knowing that there is good, responsive management that is willing to help. I felt like I was speaking with my bank or actual financial institution when I spoke with Mark yesterday opposed to a third rate call center in Panama when I initially reached out. This is important. A side note, I initiated a wire transfer last night around 7:30 PM and the money is in my checking account. If you are an honest player who takes care of their account information, you have nothing to worry about with BetOnline.ag.

See my post upthread. It happens at other sportsbooks too. Sure, we've seen a lot of occurrences at BOL. But they are a large sportsbook, so we should expect to see more. What's important to me is that BOL takes care of business when something like this does occur. It's still a rare enough occurrence that them fixing the problem is sufficient in my view.

Don't misunderstand me. I do think there is some sort of hole that is letting the same person do this over and again there. Seems to come in waves. Maybe they get a casino fix this way when bored. Maybe what they really do is try to win and leave people's account balances big to hurt BOL, but we don't hear about those ones.

I've thought about this too since I never hear about them being able to successfully withdraw any casino winnings. A Robin Hood of sorts. If so, it's a shame that my friends weren't lucky enough to be one of the winners, but at least they got their money back.

PS: I think that at least one of the holes these hackers take advantage of is the fact that these sportsbooks allow you to optionally log in using your email address and do not require your account number. Therefore, if there are leaks from any other sites on the dark web, they have all the information they need to hack into the accounts of people who reuse their passwords across sites.
