Their wings are the old Pizza Hut wings before the conversation to wing time or whatever the fukk wrecked that franchise.

Pabst is just a label, could be brewed under contract in Toledo, Lacrosse, Milwaukee or soon Saint Louis (just inked deal w AB to brew for them).

That said, myself, my boys & even Anthony Bourdain all agree, cheap, yellow, cold & local- that's the best beer.

The PBR today is not the PBR I grew up drinking.

Like a lot of brewers - things changed a lot between their heyday in the 70s and 2000s when AB decided they would corner the mainstream market and kill everyone not named Miller.

Old Milwaukee was a good beer back in the day - sold a lot of Strohs too.

Worst was Blatz - but the local hole in the wall that served kids would only sell us Blatz - mainly because they were literally so damn far down in a hollow the only beer distributor that would deliver down there was a small operator who mainly sold Blatz and a few other oddball beers. This place was the absolute definition of small town redneck paradise. Licensed for carry out only - owner just put a board atop a couple of cinder blocks and brought in a pool table and shuffleboard. Always a a wild crowd down there on weekends. No indoor plumbing either - just 2 outhouses.
