Sorry had to update contests.

Beating the the last place team in the SEC that went winless in the conference does not hold nearly as much weight as most of Alabama's wins. Look @Franz555 , you seem to be getting worked up over this whereas me, I just don't care :D

I am just happy to have games to bet on, I frankly could not care less about the politics involved. And from a betting perspective, the order by power ratings is Alabama/ND/Miami. But I don't want to waste energy debating this, we can't control who gets in, need to focus on betting now regardless of matchups.

Sagarin CFB Rankings :

Florida St # 43
Arkansas # 47

Notre Dame beats # 47 by a 56 - 13

Alabama LOSES to # 43 Florida St 17 - 31

We agree that the Selection Committee has decided.

Was it a Just and Fair decision......

NOT A CHANCE

You seem to be a bit worked up about the SEC being such a superior conference. But i dont want to waste my time debating why an SEC team wasnt even in the Championship game last year, or ranked in the top 2 of the country. Im busy betting already , thats what i do here.

I am not worked up at all, I am not a fan of any team or conference except for the one I bet on. It is just that there are many SEC teams near the top of most power ratings including mine, that just is what it is. There is no bias on my part, I am 100% objective when it comes to betting, as I need to be. So when I give an opinion, it based purely on numbers.

Side Note: My personal ratings have 6 SEC teams in Top 15, BUT my highest ranking is Georgia at #5. So my current top 4 is all non-SEC.

Im just here for the betting as well. I also agree 100% with the survey done here at BMR prior to the Playoff Selections. It was ND who were pegged to be in the Playoff, and either Miami or Alabama to not be. IF you do hold the SEC to a higher standard , i pointed out an absolute rout over an SEC team. They can only play the team on the calender , and nobody had Arkansas at the bottom. Alabama and their 3 losses are NOT one of the top teams in the country and lost to a nobody by 14 points. THAT MEANS SOMETHING , just as whipping the SEC team that the schedule has you playing. You never address either of those comparisons , just come back with " I had them ranked..... ". All due respect , national ranking services would beg to differ with YOUR #'s.

As I have repeatedly said, it is not about holding anyone to standards, it is all about what the impartial ratings say. And those don't care about records or previous matchups or who beat who by how much, mine are 100% metrics generated. You seem to like Sagarin, and he has 7 SEC teams in his Top 13! The lowest of my 6 is Texas at #15. I have Vandy lower but still good at #21.

AGAIN , I dont seem to like Sagarins. I pointed out the comparison of an SEC team that was comparable to Florida St and showed you the massive difference between the 2. MY impartial ratings have ND at #3.
As i have said repeatedly , you are only using your SEC is better point when it suits you.

Im not holding anyone to standards. Im flat out saying that the selection committee is corrupt.

I will also continue to wager on the games , and the many other sports i cap.

The issue here is we are looking at this from different perspectives. You keep supporting your argument with who beat who, and my ratings don't care about any of that, they are completely generated by overall metrics. So let's agree to disagree on Bama and move on.

EDIT: We actually agree that Notre Dame should be in, we just disagree on who should be out. But who cares now that the deed is done.

ND sitting out I can understand given their quality of players. None of their starters are risking injury for a non playoff bowl.

Baylor is a totally different story. Not even in that type of discussion and "already in their offseason". That is just bad.
