id believe it cause of the visa

when i lived in CR, i had to leave every 3 months

but its easy to just travel somewhere nearby for 3 days and then go back for another 3 months or however long that visa is

Yeah that’s a good idea actually. I just don’t want to learn another language. Do they speak English over there in Vietnam at all ? If I can’t communicate with people in my surroundings, I would feel incomplete. That would be the biggest dealbreaker.

i would imagine the main language is vietnamese, but I'm sure they are teaching english in their schools over there. plus the tourists, i think you could get by. but maybe @flyingillini can confirm that for you

Pretty primitive living conditions in that part of the country, at least while I was there. And the language barrier was a struggle.
