A lot of times if the fire the girl she has a lawsuit at the ready

A lot of settlements in these cases

She will probably end up with some good $$

Sucks but it’s how the system works a lot of times
I don’t think it sucks and the rules were there to protect employees like her. So she shouldn’t get fired for the relationship but if she did something else unethical and against the rules, then that’s another issue. Yes, she was enriched by the relationship but who knows if she felt pressured into it. Hence, they have rules against “duty of care” type of relationship having sexual relationships. Teachers/student or boss/employee, etc.

He’s the one that was in the controlling position and should’ve never started the relationship. Even if a female employee initiated the relationship, male boss should have enough discipline to avoid it, or female boss with male employees. That’s why they are getting paid the big bucks to have enough integrity to stay away.

I have subordinates, though definitely not as hot, but I understand the dynamics and won’t ever risk my job for an office fling. That’s why I go to strip clubs and enjoy my fantasy there instead of actually crossing the line of inappropriateness.

You know this idiot could have just gone away and resurfaced somewhere as a corridor or at a much smaller school several years down the road like so many in similar situations

Just live off the massive amount of coin he made

But instead he goes crazy and ruins his life and career likely forever

Here's my analysis of the situation:
  • Coach/assistant have a sexual relationship.
  • Assistant gets pregnant.
  • Assistant want to get married to coach who is already married.
  • Assistant insists coach divorces his wife and marries her to start a family.
  • Coach refuses.
  • Assistant threatens coach if he doesn't dump his wife she'll spill the beans.
  • Coach refuses.
  • Assistant has an abortion because she realizes coach won't marry her.
  • Assistant tells the wife and anyone else who will listen.
  • Coach realizes he's going to lose his wife and kids in the divorce, goes nuts and tries to make the assistant feel bad by harming himself.

Here's what came out today...

First assistant prosecutor Kati Rezmierski detailed the timeline of Moore's actions after the firing, as he "barged his way" into the woman's apartment. He went to a drawer in the kitchen and "grabbed several butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors" before threatening to take his own life.

The prosecutor also detailed that Moore had an "intimate relationship" with the woman he worked with for "a number of years" before she ended the relationship Monday.

The split prompted a flurry of calls and texts from Moore that the woman did not return. Moore is married to another woman, and they have three children.

Moore's action in the wake of his former lover breaking up with him led her to go to officials at Michigan and detail their relationship. The school had previously investigated a tip about the situation, sources have told ESPN, but could not prove it occurred.

The women's admission and supporting evidence led the school to quickly dismiss Moore for cause, saying he violated both his contract and university policy. Michigan will not have to pay Moore the nearly $12.3 million remaining on his deal, because he was fired for cause.

The woman called police after Moore barged into her apartment.
