Having a great time man. It’s a special place for sure. The people are so friendly, I love their strength of community and family. The food is amazing and the American dollar goes extremely far here. I’d say the only downside I’ve ran into here is the weather. Saigon was in the 90’s, Con Dao is a bit cooler in the 80’s but it’s pretty humid in southern Vietnam.

What I’m enjoying lot is Tet, their Lunar New Year. Everything is so festive and beautiful.

Haha I’m not exactly winning, I’ve lost way more than I’ve won since I’ve been here.

The monkeys go right up to cars and people. My guess is they have become so used to tourists feeding them that they aren’t afraid of people. They are everywhere, our taxi driver threw some food out the window and probably more than 10 came up to our car. Apparently during the dry season it is harder for them to get food so they hope people will feed them.

My bad. But you're taking it one day at a time. Winning is a long process. You are going to get there.

The city of Can Tho. Only stayed here a couple nights, but was here on Tet. Saw an amazing firework show they do on the Mekong River, absolutely incredible. Honestly didn’t explore the city that much, but did go down to their night market.

Yep. It’s all very good and affordable. Most expensive street food I have come across is no more than $2, most is about a $1. People think of the food, but their coffee is my favorite. Can’t beat Cafe Sua, Vietnamese coffee, it’s great.

Just got to Cambodia yesterday. Going to be in Phnom Penh the next few days and then back to Seattle. Here are some photos of Chau Doc, a smaller city in Vietnam near the Cambodian border. We went to a bird sanctuary and also onto a mountain.
