Why do you doubt?Somehow I have to believe they didn't convey the entire story of what happened in their twitter post.
This just doesn't quite tell us what happened....
"Tomorrow I will drive my wife to a federal prison in Alabama as her offense is “unlawful assembly” 3 1/2 years in federal prison. It’s called political/christian persecution!
She's trying to convince blacks she's all for them but she sent so many blacks to prison it's hard to take seriously.Anyone voting for her is a real loser
The Twitter post really didn't explain anything. It was all one sided. Why do you doubt?

This is all bullshit. The Twitter post really didn't explain anything. It was all one sided.
The article you posted gives more detail.
Here is the accusation and what she apparently was convicted of....
The DOJ accused Williams of having "repeatedly intimidated and interfered with individuals seeking and providing critical reproductive health services. She did so by physically blocking access to clinics, threatening staff, and by force."
So, the charges were brought by the DOJ but she was likely convicted by a jury of her peers OR maybe just a judge but I doubt it was just a judge. These types of charges are best heard by a jury. That is who sent her to prison.
I'm not arguing with her politics or her stance on abortion and there is no way to tell how aggressive she was based on her picture. This is all bullshit.
Just like the charges brought against my friend that he struck a police office on Jan. 6.
This lady was standing outside an abortion clinic with a sign. That's all. They accused her of obstruction. Blocking access to the building. Does she look like she could stop anyone from entering a building to you?
I understand your argument. I'm saying it's all bullshit.I'm not arguing with her politics or her stance on abortion and there is no way to tell how aggressive she was based on her picture.
I'm just pointing out who found her guilty. She must have done something wrong to get convicted by a jury or a judge. They don't just toss people in jail without a trial. Someone agreed she had done something wrong. Now, could it have been a liberal group of 8 or 12 people??? Maybe. But all 12 being of that persuasion is not likely. Similar for a judge, if he made the call. We don't know if the judge was conservative or liberal. Bottom line is someone outside the DOJ decided her guilt. They just prosecuted her.
I would bet they had video of her in front of the clinic. Most of these places have cameras everywhere. Otherwise it would be hard to get any kind of conviction based on heresay.
There are better arguements to be made against the DOJ than this one.
Philly.
I agree with your stance on this part 100%.YET, no one was ever prosecuted for anything when leftists looted and burned both Minneapolis and Portland every night for months.
Trump tried but was.met with resistance from then.Attorney General William Barr.I agree with your stance on this part 100%.
This occurred in May 2020. I never understood why Trump didn't get his DOJ to prosecute them. He had 8 months in office to bring justice to some of them but didn't. WTH.
