Just a brutal day on the diamond as Boston wins but doesn't cover the run line in extra innings and Houston and Toronto get me by the hook on the total. Then Baltimore implodes and blows a good start by Corbin Burnes en route to a 7-3 loss. Still got the WNBA game pending to save my betting day but baseball wasn't good today so I'll try to bounce back tomorrow.

Thanks I like my play on that one I think Minnesota should win at home but you never know. Should be a good game though between two of the best teams in the league.

Well Minnesota loses a tough one where it went downhill after they lost their best player for the game in the second half to a foot injury. No excuses though Connecticut is still a very good basketball team and they earned that win but that took the wind out of Minnesota's sails after they built a 10 point lead to start the third quarter. On to tomorrow where we'll see what I'm betting on hopefully I can turn things around as I've gotten off to a rough start this month.

Finally I sweep the board thanks to some late game heroics by the Red Sox who were down to their last out but came back to send the Yankees to their 13th loss in the their last 17 games. Will try to keep it going tomorrow.

Just the three MLB plays for me today as I have no play on the other WNBA game today. I lean Minnesota but 9 is a little rich for me to lay against the Mystics and I would probably play the over but this is a stay away for me.

1-2 day today as San Francisco game goes over but Pittsburgh doesn't get there and Atlanta dominates Philly so I lose my Phils play. We'll shall see what tomorrow brings as I try to get back on track.

JRgum are you noticing a shift in WNBA? I'm not into it big but it seems like some of the bottom half teams are getting better and better and able to compete with most of the league (maybe not the Liberty or Suns).

Some of these teams like the Mystics have been able to hang with good opponents but for the most part the cream of the crop usually covers. I don't really know if teams are getting better or if teams like the Liberty think they can just show up and win.

Got any futures on WNBA championship. I'd find it hard pick anyone other than Liberty/Suns/Lynx.

I don't bet futures much but to me the Aces are still the team to beat. Unfortunately the books agree as they are the first choice at +160. Those other teams you mentioned hold value because they're longer odds but I think Las Vegas has the best chance because they have the best player and the best coach.
