As a longtime conservative Republican, it’s tough to see the “conservative“ be taken from American politics. Both sides have resorted to extremeism, most likely thanks to the propaganda they ingest.

I wont attempt to get involved in American politics , just a bit confused when people draw a line in the sand and state they are Republican or Democrat. If i had a leaky faucet , i wouldnt phone a carpenter. Sometimes its about the right guy/woman at the time. Trump / Elon ( Puppet , Puppet master....you can decide ) are over estimating America's influence in the Global Financial /trading world. Be assured that when the smoke settles ( i estimate less then 6 months ), the globe will have adjusted relationships , trade pacts etc , and continue rolling along.
With a newly appointed PM in Canada ( interm for now ) we are poised to handle all financial repurcussions caused by the US traffifs. Mark Carney has a financial resume that is second to none , and respected globally. He was responsible for managing our financial backfall and recovery in 2008. He was hired by the British Gov't as the Governor of the bank of England where he led their central banks response to Brexit.
Trump inherited his wealth and went bankrupt more then any person i can ever recall, and he has alienated the US from 99% of the globe. As a negotiator, he is failing miserably. You need friends on this planet , and Putin is nobody's friend. The similarities are becoming more common by the day

Deep down , Canadians will always secretly see you as our brothers and sisters. The rivalry's are merely sports related , and it was a very good run that we had as partners. The damage caused by Trump has forced us to make new trade relationships in response. This is where we say goodbye and wish you well

Because of such a cursory understanding, at best, of many of these topics, these posters will always direct it back to the onlly frame of refernce they have... the propaganda they ingest.
