.Trump stating that the phones are ringing off the hook from countries looking to renegotiate ( Perhaps Lesotho ) is another lie.
They seem to be nearly all lies. Integrity of information and the sources is something we assess. For betting and investing, information is everything so we learned early on how to weed out, for the most part, the bullshit.
I had to rate the White House a not credible source of information this year. I had to rate them because of the manipulative influence on the markets, but they had to get a negative rating for obvious reasons.
Rated BMR the same for political information, even pointed out a specific poster in my report, as there is a lot of parroted misinformation here in those politcal threads.
Anyway, no matter your political affiliation, no matter you idealogy, no matter who you voted for, we all have to admit there is a huge credibility problem. Sadly, we are beyond "trust, but verify" as the White House has lost the trust.
So I tend to agree and would seek evidence from those other countries for verfication. I think there is evidence from Vietnam, but that's a couple days old.
Unfortunately, you are correct to immediately question the validity of those statements, whether or not they trun out to be true. Verification is necessary.
We re in a wait and see mode.
