Wow , gold is up $112 an ounce right now . ☝️

gold_6_month_o_usd_x.png

Treeemendous 6 month chart.

It's the bond market that might be worth watching the closest, but like I was saying, we need some real economic news and not just market swinging speculation.

Bonds can provide something concrete, but we really do need info.

Consumer confidence and spending over the rest of this year will provide a ton of guidance here.

Sharps profited on the pump again. Easy.

Yes, if we are in a position to snatch up issues, it's a good time to do it.

Even Trump said now is the time to get rich, but he could only be really talking to those in a position to do so. Most Americans weren't sitting on enough cash to dip in as most didn't sell before the drop.

Options providing a good place to extract money.

@Tanko you can see my point. Could do this with others in the thread too, and all you see is fight or flight but no discussion.

:lmao:
Funny enough I actually read his responses in this thread as him realizing that he's probably a liberal deep down

He had that comment about his friend auditing Lehman Brothers in 2008 and how he thinks those jobs are important -- that's about as liberal of a comment as you can have

What?
This makes zero sense.

My posts weren't about Tanko, and again not about politics.

But, could you imagine the amount of misinformation that would come out if we asked some of these posters to justify their political stances, not to mention political affiliation?

It would be ridiculous and 100% the product of the propaganda machines I was talking about earlier in this thread.

You can tell what information these posters consume just base on the unoriginal talking points that parrot.

Half the comments you made was admitting your mistake voting for Trump

And then you made comments about how auditing banks is important......that's liberalism 101 dude.

The fact that you think that stuff is important, but also voted for Trump is about as contradictory as it gets lol

Maybe you just have very conflicting opinions on issues, or are morally confused. I probably was wrong in saying you realized you're a liberal. You probably haven't realized it yet

Fortunately, like I said before, the last administration had an objectively humming economy and this administration can take advantage of that by getting away with moves like this.

That also means they can safely manipulate markets to a high degree and rely on the economy handed to them to keep thigns propped up.

I mean voting for a guy that "promised" he was going to do X or Y is just hilarious in itself. For any president. Liberal or conservative.

But again, our country is so intellectually lazy that they vote for people based on emotion or "guts"

Wait, so disagreeing with the implementation of Project 2025 automatically turns one to a liberal?

That's like me correcting posters on cell biology during COVID and being called a liberal for it.

That's like some of us pointing out the absurdity of Trumps tariff chart and then being called liberal for it.

I thought you of all people recognized how dumb that is.

Do you think the Trerasury Secretary is a liberal? He didn't like the tariffs at all.

Don't become one of them, those that are propagandized, please hang on to your original thoughts.

They didn't have a humming economy because Trump said it was the worst economy in the history of the world.

That's a fact.

Biden created the China virus and caused inflation.

You have a frequent tendency to twist words.

I stated my NEPHEW audited banks for the IRS to protect the public from Lehman Brothers type failures. That was why his department was created. That was his job. Do I think its the right thing to do YES. Does that make me a liberal NO.

Did I vote republican. YES. Does that make me a conservative NO. Why does someone have to be ONLY a liberal or a conservative? I am actually a registered independent. I have many conservative views but I also have many liberal views.

I'm about as centrist as they come that why some on both sides hate my posts.

No, I didn't phrase it well.

I am wrong for the liberal comment @Tanko , my apologies. That was terrible phrasing by me. That's way too generalistic.

He just seems to have some solid moral stances that have been displayed throughout the thread that make it really hard to understand why he voted for Trump in the first place. Like it is just interested it took this to finally realize it may have been a mistake.

Like there were infinite examples of behavior like this from his first term, during Biden's term, and on the campaign trail for both elections that would make him do disqualified for it

I just don't understand why it takes this long to realize Trump is a mistake when you have generally a solid moral compass

Wait what?
So voting for someone should not be based on what they say their policies will be??? WTH?

It was wrong for me to label you a liberal, way too generalist on my part. Lot of conversations going on in this thread so probably tried to insert a point too quickly and it came out hot

:lmao:

Trump sat in the Oval office and said he authorized Musk to rescue "stranded" astronauts because the last administration couldn'tdo it.

He even got new Nasa spokeswoman to claim he was responsible for bringing them home, contradicting everything NASA had been saying about it.

Those of us that follow space exploration know the truth and that means we also know that the White House may have threatened NASA's budget, or something, in order to get the spokeslady to lie.

All to make ignorant listeners think somehow Trump "won" something.

We must be careful when listening to gov't related information now, and not just be skeptical of campaing promises. The misinformation runs deep now, it's not just reserved for Presidents and congressmen.
