That we know of, because he was so interested in the spread maybe he had some actionBut he knows the spread but allegedly has no interest in betting on them.

They start doing that and everyone will start bitching, calling it shady.
Coaches and players should be, at least in appearance even if not true, focused on winning the game and staying healthy, not the betting angles. Even if we all know there is more to it than that, the more players and coaches talk about betting, the image of just being focused on winning erodes.

Many teams will just throw a high pass out of bounds to kill 3-5 seconds.
