thank you!! i mean i am always open for tips on getting rid of pain. please share one tip lol
Get on a flat bench (like you would do a bench press on) put a vtx weighted ball or any hard ball under your lower back and lean back as for as you can without pain ( your hips and groin should be raised) and then do a situp to parallel for 5 reps. If you gym has a reverse hyper use it. Never use machines for anything in the gym for cardio or strength.

I herniated my L2, L3 vertebrae 3 years ago. It sent searing pain down my lower back and into the most sensitive area of the male anatomy. Not fun. Fortunately, physical therapy made the pain go away. If your back doesn't get better I recommend looking into PT.

After PT I kept my back in shape with yoga, but stopped during the pandemic lockdown and the pain came back. Working out at the gym since then has healed the pain, but I have to be super careful about form, especially with leg and back exercises. If you aren't going to be hyper focused on weight lifting form, yoga is probably the better bet.

Just my opinion... Good luck with your back pain.
My story is very similar to yours. Do the exact same things to help my lower lumbar herniations, besides the yoga stuff.
