I also ride my bike a lot which my phone does not calculate the miles.

I’ve seen him jog in place like he’s ready to box somebody, but that is all lol.

I do the same exact thing at the supermarket or stores when I’m shopping. Since I live in South Florida, and it’s primarily hot all the time I like to find a parking spot with shade, and that is far away from the building to help get my daily steps in.
I was at the supermarket earlier today. I parked way away from the building and so did a lady near me. I was almost done packing my groceries in my truck when she asked me if she wanted me to take my cart. I said "Sure. It's a good workout." She said "That's why I do it."

You and I are not the only ones who seek fitness in the simple acts of life.

I've been walking multiple times per week since August of 1989. At first it was 3 to 4 times per week. The last few years it's only been 2 to 3 times per week.

Since I've been getting fewer steps I've decided to get more by using a trick. Instead of parking as close to the door of the supermarket or doctor's/dentist's office or restaurant, I'll park far away in the parking lot.

I think the best part is not having to navigate my vehicle into a tight parking space. I just park out where no other vehicles are.
