Quality of life is very subjective. Depends how you want to live your life. I would never want to live in Đà Nẵng but some people love it. There are much better beach places to live. But you can get an apartment where your sliding glass door opens to the ocean for cheap. Some of these guys on youtube are spot on and others are way off and just like to hear themselves talk and fresh off the boat. Look at some apartments for sale in Pattaya , Thailand, sick ones for very cheap... I would never live in Thailand though. Viet Nam is the holy land and a great quality of life. The trick is just how to stay long-term.

I do not recommend Đà Nẵng though. Much better places out there. Keep in mind, Christ graced China and Việt Nam, he didn't go to Thailand or any other place in Asia but reports say he did grace parts of Indonesia, which is debatable.

It is amazing just difficult to navigate around. I love going there but get frustrated every time. I lived there part time for a bit and never really felt at ease. It is very safe and fun but just stressful unlike SEA.

Which beach places would you recommend? I've been to Danang and swam in the ocean, but didn't find the water to be all that clean ... maybe I was at the wrong part of the beach.
