We have really nice grocery stores here but wetmarkets and people selling meat on the streets is very popular. You will find people posted up on street corners selling meat, chicken, fish. they will kill the chicken or duck right there in front of you and gut it etc etc, not to mention seeing dog daily being cooked... I just took these pictures this morning...

That is nothing. You should see the wet markets. It’s so disgusting, I wouldn’t eat that stuff.

There are around 20 different types of sharks in the waters here. I know nothing about them at all, you would know more than me!

I went to Vietnam vs Myanmar tonight, another easy win. Streets are insane now!
At all the games, you can see various people bringing pictures of beloved Uncle Ho, they are always hosting him up in the crowds. Great game!

This basically means Vietnamese Children , chasing their dreams and not wasting potential or money. The crazy thing about learning this language, you not only have to learn the language but the meanings of words, the context and use is nothing like English at all.

I have posted this and I will post it again. I feel the exact same way. I have never loved anything in my life as much as I do Hanoi. I understand what he means here , 100%, I have cried when I came back driving into Hanoi too.

Speaking of food, a lot of people don't realize how healthy Vietnamese food is.

It's funny that I'm reading today because i just had a healthy bowl of beef bún for lunch today at my favorite Viet restaurant near me.

So in Việt Nam , the traffic police are notorious for pulling you over by standing on the street and waving you to stop. They make extra money that way. I’ve been pulled over 8-9 times over the years. But when they pull kids over , they generally know they won’t get any money out of them. So they make them do exercises on the road. It’s pretty funny to see this.
