I can write novels about this. They just make money that way. I get pulled over a lot. They find something , they even use tasers if you try to get away, it is funny. These kids were probably doing something wrong and instead of making them pay money they had them do that, I think that is great to be honest! It is very corrupt here , so the police make money that way too. It is the safest place I have ever been but corrupt. When I go to the border towns, I always slip 100k into my passport and tell them that is for them and they take it and say thanks.. That is $4.25 That way, they process me faster than others and never mess with me.

I think this is very common in Asia. Go to PH and you will encounter the same, we call them Police "scalawags", which simply means "rogue police or military officers". They think all foreigners are rich and it's okay to ask for money but there's a law about that and they could end up jobless if they are caught doing this activity.

You should see their faces in surprise when I start to argue with the speaking in Vietnamese, it is pretty funny, people have video taped me before and I assume put it on Facebook.

Uncle Ho was a great man and leader. All he wanted was the best for his people. No harm in that and that’s what every leader wants for their country. Nothing but respect for Uncle Ho. America never should of been to Việt Nam in the first place.
