I hear it's not the same as it used to be since the Chinese took over much of the place and built a bunch of casinos. Anywhere you have casinos you're going to have mongers but it's not like it used to be.

Cambodia has over 300 Casinos, only 24 of them actually have licenses. Imagine a place where there are huge casinos and hotels without 0 online presence. The hotels don't take credit cards to stay there, cash only. I go to Mong La, huge Casinos all over, not one takes a credit card, this is all Chinese mafia without any licenses too. The only real legit one is Naga world which I will be at tomorrow but the border town of Bavet I go to, has 56 Casinos, 3 of those have an actual license. These are SEZ zones, Chinese mafia ran. In Sihanouk, that is where it is unreal, huge casinos everywhere, there very hard to find felts with any English on them. Vietnam has 100s of Casinos, only one can Vietnamese enter, the rest are for foreigners only. In Singapore, the casino at Marina bay sands is for foreigners only, if a singaporean resident wants to go inside they must pay $100.
