She told the court that she managed to avoid detection at three airports including JKIA in Nairobi.

The 37-year-old also successfully smuggled the drugs through security checks at both Bole International Airport in Ethiopia and Hamad International Airport in Qatar, before being caught in Ho Chi Minh.

This is so confusing. She was smuggling drugs INTO Vietnam??? WTH? She got through Ethiopian and Qatar security but arrested in Ho Chi Minh.

They mention the golden triangle but I would have thought she got busted taking drugs out of the country.

I wonder if she needs to bribe those security people to go through. Just impossible not to detect drugs in the airport with all the strict processes.

There is a ton of drugs all over SEA, drugs are being smuggled in, smuggled out and passing through, all the above.
