Yikes! Meanwhile I have read there is something like only 26 million people on the whole continent of Australia.

Lets talk traffic or as we say here "organized chaos" People texting and driving , holding babies with one hand, there are accidents daily, I have been in some, know people that have been seriously hurt and killed. Traffic is a nightmare here. They are the worst drivers I have ever experiences. Turning , switching lanes without looking, it is truly a sight to see and experience.

These are some old pictures but a good story. These are right at the beginning of Covid. In Vietnam things were like China in the beginning. We couldn't leave our apartments anytime we wanted. We got a ticket and could go out 3 days a week at a certain time and had to get our temp checked coming back in. I come from a family of doctors and one thing I do know is you can have a temp for many things and covid is just one of them, during covid it was a struggle because I run a high temp , pretty much my whole life. So this is me arguing with the security about my temp, pretty funny stuff.

A girl that I was sneaking in during the lockdown, I had her come through the fence in the back. It was a scary but funny time here as well.

They were not going to let me back in my apartment. Keep in mind, at the beginning they were taking people out of their homes and putting them in facilities , so this was during that time. I had to explain a lot that I just run a high temp, I flew back to California twice during the height of it too and Singapore Airlines was being difficult but I had to have a covid test to board each time so that saved me. I could get into places, nobody really questioned it other than where I live and the airlines. The thing that saved me was I have lived in the same place for 9 years and they all know me in my area so it was ok, just tense at times.

I know more rich and wealthy Vietnamese than I do Americans , people don't really clearly understand what is happening in this beautiful country. Tons and I mean tons of people making a ton of money here. There is a reason why there are ferrarrr. lambo, high end cars and dealerships here.. tons of $$ here. They are all making their money with land and banks. Foreigners can't own any land here, you can only own apartments but as you have seen in the past from the pics I posted, there are high end nice luxury apartments everywhere. The government a few years ago had to put a limit on the amount of apartments foreigners can buy here. There are groups flying in from all asian countries to come invest in condos and apartments here because its a great investment, luxury living for cheap. Foreigners can own apartments for 50 years with 1 renewal, that does not matter you will die by the time that runs out. You can sell it to someone and the 50 years starts over for them. There is no property tax either. Banks now are 9-11% on one year deposits. it is a dream here to make money. It is tricky though, not anyone can come here and do it though. I am able to from connections. I will be honest, living here knowing I can get 9-11% depends on the bank just on interest is a dream! You should come out here and visit for a couple weeks. I can show you how things are here
