Here's a YT channel I follow, just in case I want to live in one of these places after retirement. Here's a vid about Da Nang.

$300 Apartment - $1,180 Monthly Budget - Beach City in Vietnam

It is all relative and the quality of life you live. I would not want to live in ĐÀ NẴNG, there are much better beach areas if you want to live at the beach.

Yeah. In the video they mention that rent for a studio apartment. If you want a 1 bedroom it will be $400 to $500 per month.

Even still, you can get a beer, double cheeseburger and fries for $5. Viet food can be had for as little as $2. You wouldn't ever have to cook. Just stroll down the street and eat at one of the many restaurants serving either local or Western food for cheap.

I remember you saying months ago which beach city is better. Which one did you suggest if one wanted to live in a beach town in Vietnam?

When you moving to SEA QL?
I'll be there just before Christmas for a couple weeks but I've decided I don't want to move there permanently. It's just too hot and humid.

So I'm going to plan on spending a couple months each year around January, February, March there.

I hope to retire in June 2025 but it might be at the end of 2024.

I'll probably end up renting out my house. I can get $1500/month more than what I pay for a house payment. I can use that amount for rent somewhere in rural Arizona until I pack up for SEA. My social security and other investment income should make for a comfortable life and I still get appreciation on my houses.

Wait.... I am confused.
Fly, online sportsbetting is allowed in Vietnam, right? I mean everyon has access to Pinny, correct?

I can see these guys being arrested for starting a bookie business without permits but isn't online sportsbetting legal?

Look at this one, 1.27 billion dollar bust. There are huge busts all the time

Sportsbetting is illegal here but they all do it. They all use rings that have pph shop style books, very rare to meet someone that uses books like bet365 , pinny etc, everyone bets but they use local books. They only bet soccer, big big betting here.
