One thing that I hate here is domestic abuse. I’ve seen men beat up their wife/girlfriend on the street and people film it not stop it. So sad. Well, if the bothered woman is unwilling to file the case, there's nothing we can do to push the case. Only they can save themselves from the abuse. It's always gonna be a cycle if they don't put an end to it.
I have a case before where we already put the abusive husband in jail, and then 2 months after the same woman went to the station crying for the same reason, I told her, "Aren't we already put your husband in jail?" and she said "Ma'am I withdraw the case, I didn't go to the hearing and he was out", so I told her to come back tomorrow so another investigator can handle her case coz I don't want to handle it anymore. lol.
Who knows everyone drives terrible here, probably both.
