Indians -110 over Detroit. 6 units.
Pen game for Tigers.
Day off gives advantage to Indians Bullpen.
Cobb faced 4 teams this year - 3 with winning records.
His era is solid@ 2.76. In 3 of 4 starts he gave up 1 run, 0 runs and 0 runs.
In the game with 4 runs, it was a 3-run HR to Minnesota.
His PIP is outstanding.
Mets -110 over Phillies. 5 units
Quintana is dominating in his last 5 starts with a 0.58 era!
He also averages 6 innings.
He is 3-0 vs Philly this year.
Suarez is 2-6 last 10 games since the break - he isn't the dominating starter he was before then.
Mets have been better in the last 5 weeks of the season. and thats why they're beating the Phillies.
KC ev over NYY. 10 units
AS I mentioned 2 weeks ago - the Royals are the top team in MLB with a 33-19 division record! Better than ANY team who made the playoffs and bette than every team in MLB overall.
Schmidt is 0-2 in his last 3 starts with NY losing all 3 games. His era is 5.02.
Schmidt beat KC in two starts last year. BUT these aren't the same Royals from those games.
Lugo will be at his best today. In his last start vs Yankees he shut them out in 7 innings. His season recored is 16-8 w/era of 2.95. Better than any Yankee starter this year.
Looking at the Bullpens for the payoffs, KC is tied with Detroit for most Strikeouts at 19!
More important - the Royals are leading every team in the playoffs with a 2.19 bullpen era!
Thats why they are a 10 unit play....
Dodgers/SD over 8 runs 4 units
As good as Cease has been, he is the weakest of the top starters for SD.
LA is starting a guy name "Knack" who has an era of 3.00. He i a strikeout pitcher but does give up home runs. In fact 10 hr's in only 54 innings. BUT - this is a game where there is no tomorrow for LA so he will be on a very short lease if he isn't sharp.
3-team parlay. 3 units to win 1800.00
Indians-110, Mets-120, Royals-ev.
AS noted: I said the best teams in the playoffs the last month of the season - were all the wild card teams
Its looking like a possible WILD CARD WORLD SERIES!
