Here in the Northeast many many people have pools I think most of them are above ground. My family had one growing up and I loved it for maybe two at most 3 months out of the year.
Personally I've always thought it's kind of crazy to have a pool in my kind of climate when you can only use it a good 2 months out of the year with good weather. It's just not worth it for that little of time in use.
We had a 28-foot above ground pool at my parents growing up.

There’s so much rock in Central Texas it cost a ton to put in a below-ground pool.

It was great though. We built a deck around it and eventually put a hot tub on the deck.

A lot of fun/drunkenness in the high school years with friends.

Get injured and blame it on trainer. Lawsuit. Don't sign any contract just handshake. Asians are dumb enough to do that they believe honor code
