NC State quarterback Grayson McCall was carted off the field after taking a hit to the head but was later released from the hospital after his scans came back normal.
He passed the protocol before the game started after his concussion from 2 weeks ago (last season?). No way he's passing the protocol any time soon after that hit. I'll be surprised to see him back this season. Even the scans coming back normal just means there isn't any serious structural brain damage. Scans don't have a high enough resolution to show damage from concussions at the neuron level. It's too bad he wasn't wearing a guardian cap.
