I don't know who she/he is but I posted it because of the message which makes sense.

I always tell my mom to do general check-ups as she's not getting younger anymore, she always refuses and so I told my siblings that no matter how hard I work in this lifetime if mom gets sick, I will end up with nothing. Nada.

It is natural for the parents to pass before their children. Don't know what your upbringing was or even pretend too know. Thing is you seem like a healthy intelligent woman so when you said you would end up with nothing are you sure about that? When people you care about start to get older appreciate the time you have with them and never take away their dignity.

I should have been more specific with that word. I am referring to ending up with nothing more on the "financial" part. The PH health system is so bad and I don't know what happened, but she didn't have a chance to secure medical insurance.
