What do you usually do if you crave unhealthy food, Malted?

I try to eat healthy, but there is always a time when I give in to fast food or fatty food.

I’ve done pickled eggs, pickles, chips - both corn & potato - but, yeah, sometimes just easier to buy a bag of Doritos. Popcorn, nuts, trail mix - all that stuff (in moderation). Just made some mesquite marinated beef jerky yesterday, in my air fryer - it has a ‘dehydrator’ setting. Spiced them up with some red pepper flakes. These will last me a while - goes great with an IPA!!!!!

I make jerky in the air fryer all the time using chicken breasts. Excellent and cheap treats for the dog. No salt or spices just plain and the dog fukkin loves them.

I buy the chicken breasts when they go on sale 10lbs for $10 and throw them in the freezer.

Got good news today my girlfriend took my dog in because he was constantly trying to hump her leg. Vet called today and said it was nothing serious and just suggested that me and the dog get fitted for glasses.

OK, buttholes aside, I have a serious question.

I have a nephew that has been living with a couple roommates that decided to be assholes for whatever reason and bail on the place they are living.

He’s a young adult.. He asked if he can move in to the spare room for a couple months until he gets another place. I told him yes.

How should I handle this?

We told him he can stay for a couple months, as he asked, to save up for a new place. But what if he doesn’t leave?

What if he gets comfortable? What happens after two months?

If he’s still here? Do I charge him rent? And if so, how much?

I wouldn’t put him on the street. I’m taking him in because he’d rather be here than with his Mom.

But stil…

Should I be charging rent?

I don’t need the money. I just want to do the right thing for him.
