Its 19 and light rain in Stuttgart. Usually a reason to avoid totals but Ukraine are lining up in a 5-3-2 formation to offset Belgium's 4-3-3. It suggests that these two are going to go for it from the start.



Slovakia vs Romania :12pm

Slovakia @ 3.00 ( 1 unit )

Romania have owned Slovakia in the past. Today , Romania would qualify with a draw and Slovakia are on their way home. Slovakia have a chance to decide their fate

I'm trying Slovakia/Romania Draw +123.

I think they realize a draw is getting them both in at this point. I'm betting the last 30 min will be very laid back play. Not a soccer guy... just a guess.

There will be plenty of scoreboard watching during the games. Slovakia are essentially out if they draw with Romania. They MUST win to advance

Slovakia will have 4 points with a draw, right?

4 pts and your in the next round.
Even if Ukraine gets a draw and reaches 4 pts, they are out due to goal diff.
What am I missing?

1st Romania ( play a 3rd place team in Rd 16 )
2nd Belgium ( Play France )
3rd Slovakia ( await pt and goal diff for a possible 3rd place selection )

But groups A, B, and C have 3rd place teams with 3, 2, and 3 points respectively after 3 games so any team with 4 points in 3rd place now is in.

With a draw Slovakia will have 4 and is in.

Still , with 45+ to play , Belgium will play to win and leap frog Romania for 1st. " If that happens , why would Romania sit with a tie to play France next ? Im just saying that many scenarios are in play. A loss to Romania may keep Slovakia out. A win may give them the group in 1st. HUGE differences

Tough to read how hard Portugal will play since they pretty much have Group F locked up.
I like Turkey in the other game. I think there is value on that side with the odds near even money on spread.

I still think Portugal have a starting 11 ( and plenty of juice on the bench like Ramos ) that beat Georgia today. I like the Over 2.5 in the Czech/Turkey game
