Do you ever get burned out?

I been doing this for many years now. I have always enjoyed it. This is this first time since I was 18 years old that I’m actually getting tired of handicapping games.

The desire is just not there.

It’s not that I’m losing. I’m way up. Just getting burned out.


How about you guys?

i found out Mike, you start to look to other league to get the batteries charge back up, just like any job the same thing does get old at time, but trying to learn new sports keep me up..............gl there sir

just like now Mike, i have working the last hr on the early Taiwan baseball 2 games for early tuesday morning.we have a very slow day until the late evening for games on tuesday with only 1 baseball in the triple a that goes at 105 eastern ...

seem like people get burned out more in the summer time with so much going on in the normal life for summer until the football pick back up.........

Agree. I dread having to look at the card. It usually happens about this time in the MLB season. Becomes a chore. Not fun. Usually lasts until football starts.

Mike you’re burned out after all these years because you don’t even need the money. You probably tell yourself why am I even doing this. You’re retired or semi retired you live comfortably, getting older & also tired. You’re probably up hundreds of thousands of dollars over the decades. I would retire off in the sunset if I were you.

The grind is real. I was so consumed with checking my score pager back in the day it got in the way of life. I realized at that point it was time to dial it back.
