Damn - RIP

Will certainly be missed - this forum was very much a part of his life and he contributed a great deal to the community.

Agree with the suggestion to memorialize him with some sort of contest this football season - seems only appropriate given that he generously contributed to many contest over the years.

Never easy losing a forum member - especially one like.CK - as has been mentioned just shows the frailty of life and how we both never sometimes just have no idea what some people are going through and when anyone’s number may be called. Never take a moment for granted and enjoy every sandwich.

I am very saddened to say I just received word from the county where CK lived and have been informed that he has passed away. I do not have any details of his passing only that there is now a death certificate on file.

Although I never met CK, having talked to him online and through emails he was very friendly and provided a lot of insight into sports betting. He was the reason I intially visited BMR in 2021 and I am beyond sad to learn of this news.

Again, they did not provide any details or date of his passing so I would not know if/when there is/was a funeral or if there was any family to contact.

RIP my friend.
Damn! No!

He was one of my favorite posters here. He and I had a running gag about the Manitoba Moose, which I made my avatar.

RIP my friend.

Damn.

Just saw this. Very upsetting but unfortunately not unexpected due to the circumstances.

I considered him a good friend the past 3-4 years we were both on the board. He was one of the first posters who would always chime in first to root me on or congratulate me on a big score.

Truly good and generous people. RIP CK. You will be missed.

I seriously always wanted to take him up on his offer to see a Duke football or basketball game from the suite or great seats he had.

I truly don’t this was an example of a poster talking himself up, etc. I’m quite positive this was a genuine offer.

Really wish I’d have gone to a game with him now.

Any thoughts on doing a post up contest - paying the winners from the funds and taking a portion of the money collected and donating to a charity or 2 on behalf of CK.

Say $150 - $250 an entry - enough to make it interesting and keeps people active throughout the contest - but not so steep you can’t get entries.

$100-200 goes to prize pool - $50 to charity.

Just a thought - ideally we would have a sportsbook partner to chip in - but we all know that pool of money is drying up.

Everybody could just pitch in $10 to Kamala’s election fund in the kid’s name.
