They've helped quite a few people.does BMR even qualify to solve disputes/complaints like this?
This is what I think happened with me at BetUs.Not the only site I've heard of that will empty an account if you hoped on a wifi that another member is associated with. Their max bet after deposit gets people too.
Yeah it sucks because it's not your first thought when jumping on someones wifi. Smaller the book the more they look for an out. If you are up big they put you under a microscope. This is what I think happened with me at BetUs.
lol interesting you estimate your efforts to be worth -600k in deposits for themBlasting them all over social media, blogging, and podcasts.
They are aware of it and want me to stop because they say I am costing them "too much business."
All they had to do was give me the $14,800 they stole from me but decided not to. Now, they are threatening me with a cease and desist for exposing them. LOL.
They even said we will give you a $100 free play if you give us good reviews. LOL! Like that is gonna happen!
Yup, I work on Wall Street and you can imagine the floor there on the Stock Exhange with everybody using the same wi-fi. Hint: I wasn't the only trader using BetUs at the same time. I gave them so many referrals for square money. They should have been thanking me.Yeah it sucks because it's not your first thought when jumping on someones wifi. I emailed Bovada again a couple days ago. Still no response from them or BMR. Been about 45 days.
Thanks for this update! The community is watching.Shout out to Matt from BMR who reached out via email and is now trying to help with my case.
Just to summarize and be transparent, below is all the info I gave Matt about Bovada stealing my winnings:
Hi Matt,
Thanks so much for reaching out and trying to help with this. Let me give you a play by play:
1/5/23: My account got restricted on Jan 5th and I was informed it was under investigation. This was right after I requested a withdrawal for 9k and it got denied.
1/14/23: Bovada removed about $8,900 from my account.
1/27/23: Bovada called me and warned me not to bet over the max that they allow during a rollover. The guy said they would not be taking any of my money but that they would if I did it again. I agreed and he said he would enable my account. I go login to find that almost all my money is gone.
Since then I have emailed back and forth with Bovada a couple times but their CS seems to have no clue what's going on. I don't even think they know that they removed the funds from my account. They even said through email that they would not be taking my funds (see below)
That's where it stands right now. Below are the few emails between me and them.
On Jan 27th I wrote:
It's not fair to take all my winnings. I didn't realize that you had this rule. I wish your system hadn't allowed me to place those bets. I figured if I pressed max wager it would only allow me to bet the maximum that you guys wanted to allow me to bet. Being that 2/3 of the money being bet was my personal money I think it would be fair if I get 2/3 of my winnings. Let me know if you think that is fair. Feel free to call me to discuss.
On Jan 28th they responded:
Hi Pat,
Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.
We do hope this email finds you well and enjoying your day, we are always committed to assisting you every time you need it. Your time and business are very important to us.
At the moment it seems we're not taking action against your funds, however, keep in mind that failure to adhere to this ‘max bet’ rule may result in account closure, forfeit of the Bonus and any winnings generated during the wagering of the Bonus, as we have warned about this, any further breach might result in the termination of your account and final seizure of your funds.
If you have any other question or concern, we're available to help 24/7 and happy to assist!
Thanks,
Bovada Customer Service

On Jan 28th I responded:
Ok can you please put the funds back in my account then? You removed $8923.62 on January 14th. Please just put those funds back in my account and we will be all good. Thank you.
They have only sent generic responses since then.
Any help would be much appreciated Matt. Thanks again for your help
Max bet for bonus rules are silly. If Bovada wants to limit his max bet, they should do it through their software. Not buried in T&C that no one reads. So in the end you were exceeding their max bet rule and if you're lucky they might give you a piece of the earnings if they agree that you were using your own money to make some of those bets.
