Ditto, people have bad moments this is one of mine. I literally thought I read the race was starting at 5pm et for some reason, still do actually. With them having to run the Xfinity afterwards, I think they moved this race up some. Anyways, I think Miss Le is a great asset here, sweet as can be too. I also have great respect for Tanko, and feel as though he's sharp as a tac. Only person I should have been mad at was myself, for missing Le post about start time. I play in 3 pretty high buy-in nascar leagues and almost didn't get those picks in either. Thank God I got home early from a lunch date with the wife and saw the start time. I do apologize for the drama I created and have no problem with being penalized last place points for this race. But...I do hope BMR ( or whoever submits payout proposals) will consider higher or at least the same prize amounts, we have played for in the past, in contests going forward.

I had Kyle Larson who had engine troubles right from the start. A few had Larson.
Craig got me thinking too. Last year here, missing 1 race might cost you in the 13 race overall prizes, like it did me today. But you still had the $25-$15-$10 to play for weekly, so everyone kept playing regardless, even if life got in the way. This is a 5 week series (13 races), $250 ($50/wk) isn't too much to ask for to keep players engaged. How bout we bring that back for the next 13 race session and then splash it even more for the 10 race chase? Cause as Craig said in the movie Friday, "We ain't got no sugar".
sorry for any confusions guys but in post 2 it says 2:30 pm et to submit your picks which is an hour before the race time. next time i'll just take out an hour before the race, but am i mistaken that yesterdays race was scheduled for 3:30?

The problem is that NASCAR says the race starts at 3:30 pm Eastern on their site but they don't start racing until around 3:45 or so because of the National Anthem and other opening ceremony stuff so I can see where it's a little confusing for people. Just a heads up so that you can take this into consideration for next time.
yep understandable on that. was just basing it off of the actual scheduled time.
Thanks Tanko Le and yourself are doing a great job, any contest is hard to run correctly, even harder running a contest with this type of scoring!
