Partially true. I do think that the public outcry here made a big difference in getting JDS paid by wagerweb.
I think a person connected with WW had more to do with that than public outcry - based on what JDS has posted here.
Of course the man himself is around and can certainly chime in with his thoughts.
My point is of course forums just don’t have the level of influence they once had. BetIslands was the scandal that showed that I think. The level of trust and the truth about forum / book influence came to light and the way posters approach forums and ratings was never the same.
These days - the only books that need forums to help drive business are the newly opened shops. Anyone that’s been around more than 5 years is well established and can just sit back and let money find them.
