Was bet at trailing 6-3, 3-3 (30-15) in second
Full match live ML bets need to be completed for action. This is the standard at every book on the planet that I know of

Rather than getting all worked up and throwing a fit over a $700 bet, just stop and apply common sense. Books need this rule in place on live tennis for very obvious reasons or they’d get cleaned out

No, all books have different rules. This one has poorly written rules, but it sounds like one set needs to be completed for wagers to have action.

I did multiple times and filed a complaint here. They’re telling me it was refunded and considered a tie as there’s no advantage which is odd to me. There was a winner and I’ve lost like this at many books, including this one like this. Seems like a grey area and probably house wins or refunds on their losses. I won’t play there again, which I deposited often
That's a horseshit excuse from them and there's no ground for this grading in their rules. Your bet should be graded as a winner. Hopefully BMR can help. There should be no grey area, most books have very clear rules on retirements.

How would books get cleaned out? I’ve lost a number of these similar bets at Youwager. After one complete set no matter why or who retires has alway been my understanding

I spent too much time on this, but apparently they settle prematch bets (main board) and live bets (3rd party platform) differently. This is the rules for their live platform, see attachment. Not greatly written, but my interpretation is that ML bets need to completed to have action and according to those rules that bet was correctly voided.
Since I am not customer there, I don't know how clear this is, apparently you need to be logged in to see this 3rd platform rules.
This is further complicated by the fact that for some matches they offer live betting on tennis on their main board and in those cases the Bettors Den rules for tennis apply.

Most books have this rule for pre match betting. Live betting full match needs to be completed, this is industry standard

You’ll often see a player get hurt and try to remain in the match only to retire within the next few games. You could just sit there watching streams and clean out books using that strategy. The books need obvious protection in these spots

So now bettors are playing by multiple sets of rules. Unrealistic- I’m going to avoid- would suggest others do the same

Yes everyone avoid a book with a flawless payout history because one guy had a bet voided based on an industry standard rule

Feel free to find one offshore/legal book that doesn’t grade live ML tennis wagers this way
Pinnacle. Betfair. It's of course entirely up to books what rules to use but it should be clear. I wouldn't call voiding ML bets on retirements an industry standard, although most books do.

Bettors Den has perhaps not done something wrong here, it depends on how clear it is that the 3rd party live platform's rules, and not their own rules, apply for live bets, but Bettors Den should make their tennis rules clearer overall.

Also, offering live betting on tennis on their site, sometimes on their mainboard and sometimes through a 3rd party platform, and with different rules depending on where bets are placed, is very confusing for the customer.
