Memphis is dead. Gave it 2 shots last couple years. Went from bad to worse. Beal St is dead, the food is mediocre, the people are all mean and all black

It’s funny - that trend followed as they moved to rust belt cities during depression and early 1940s here - you stuck to your side of the tracks and didn’t cross them.

Not just white/black either - all ethnicities seemed to follow it.
