NAS/DET over 6 1/2
Both goalies have had rough outings their last few games.
WAS -165
NAS will have a letdown game after beating CAR last night.
NAS road record 8-8 while WAS home record 12-5-3.
NAS starting a backup goalie (Lankinen 3-4) while WAS starts Lindgren (11-4-2) who has won 9 out of his last 10.

Home/away records favor the Rangers as well as recent form. Rangers have won 7 out of their last 10 while the Devils are 3-10 out of their last 13 including losing their last 8 at home.
Thanks for the tip. If this game is anything like the Bruins game at Fenway, I think I'm taking the under 5 1/2 -125. Keep in mind, my college/minor league hockey picks have sucked.

Barring something crazy, the UConn/Northeastern game 1 at Fenway is headed in that direction--UNDER. Normally I'd jump on the bandwagon with you, I just think BC is going to light up overrated UMass. We'll see.

Sometimes these games are just painful. After going 0-2-1 last night, I thought I may have a winner with the Rangers up 3-1 in the 3rd and with NJ losing their last 8 at home. Nope. NJ scores 2 goals in the 3rd to tie it up and gets the winning goal in OT.
I guess I just have to keep focused on the bigger picture.

Fading the Avs who have lost their last 5 all with Georgiev in net. He was 15-5 at one time but this latest skid tells me there is something wrong. Backup goalie Fancouz was injured and may not be ready for this game. Regardless of who is in net for the Avs in this game, I don't see how they can pull this out on the road.
^I don't know what happened there. My post got cut off somehow. Here's what it should read:
STL -152
Fading the Habs, losers of 9 out of their last 10. MON goalie Allen is a loser of his last 7 in a row.
EDM -125

I'm going to go out on a limb here. TOR has lost their last 2 at home. DET starts Hellberg who has seen limited time but did well in 2 out of his last 3 games. I can see him wanting to vie for starting goalie in competition with Husso who has not done well his last 6 games.
