Both the Rangers and the Lightning are too inconsistent lately to bet on. It looks as though both teams have hit the wall after putting together a long string of victories.

Elliot is in the net for the Lightning. He just doesn't have enough experience this season for me to count on, especially after he gave up 4 goals on Wednesday. This looks like it may be a throw-away game for TB. I would lean the Rangers but Shesterkin didn't look all that great his last outing either. Pass.

Samuel Ersson is starting his second game of the season for the Flyers. He gave up 5 goals in a period and a half just over a week ago in his first appearance.

The Sharks' Kahkonen has given up at least 4 goals 7 out of his last 9 starts.

Edmonton -101
Neither team here has been tearing it up as far as recent form goes. Edmonton has a decent road record though. But this is mainly a bet against Seattle goalie Grubauer who is 1-5 in his last 6 appearances. I try to make picks where I see value. This is a good line for an opponent facing Grubauer.

Carolina -174
Again, we have another juicy line tonight but as mentioned previously, this is all about value. I think this should be -200+ based upon the fact that Carolina has the second best record in the NHL including winning their last 9 games. Florida are 3-6 their last 9 games. Raanta is in goal for the Hurricanes and appears to be healthy.
