I had Hamlin but am on the other side here as I think we need to go by the official nascar results. This is a contest and not a bet. Even the book that does both betting and fantasy scored their bets differently from their contests in that article and that says a lot. WhiteIvey posted what his league said but am not seeing that on other fantasy sites so far but still looking.

It doesn't sit right to me that if i would have graded 3 hours later I would have different results and that is why to me it needs to be graded as the DQs which means if it happened earlier in the year i have to go back and re-grade. Dumb new cars and rules. In years past, the win always counted and just penalties were given

There is only one fair way to grade it since I use Nascar.com for my start time and for my grading and the majority of our top tier sportsbooks graded it as a DQ.

We are going with the official Nascar.com results.

Our biggest book here betonline did not count the Hamlin win.
I haven't looked at heritage's rules but Bovada, Bookmaker/justbet, and Betonline is DQ. I only see and have proof of Betanysports grading otherwise offshore which does not surprise me as BAS/5D do it the right way with tennis as well being the only ones to not cancel tennis bets if 1 set is complete.

Doing the re-grade now

Its hard to think of everything when making the rules for a contest sometimes things come up, you just didn't think of. With that
I understand both sides!
I am of the opinion that any rules we have as long as its the same for everyone is fair, if enikk uses nascar official results as his ruler then that's what he should use, I hate that anyone would get a result they thought was unfair, because I don't want to be in that situation either, but going forward we need a rule for this so it don't happen again or at least everyone will know what to expect.

So far Empire Maker didn't have Hamlin and said :
Go with Sportsbooks

Need Bobby, RR, Tuesday, bond guy, and Tanko give their input please seeing the JGR didn't appeal but seeing a graded ticket from BAS counting win and BOL not counting win but fantasy proof of counting win and how my past practicing of grading. What a cluster.

Tanko from other thread:
"I just checked and BetOnline paid off my Larson > Hamlin bet following the DQ. (y)
As always Enikk you can just decide for me...I don't know enough about the rules🍻
