Yeah a good QB schreads them on 1st and 10 when runs are expected. He's just not very good and gets his passes batted way more than average. Last draft pick on a legendary team will always appear good

Well I guess I just disagree. Purdy is not the problem with the 49ers. He played at an all pro level all year and although he's not the best player on the team he might be their most important. They don't get to the Super Bowl without Purdy imo and if the line did a better job in the Super Bowl Purdy would've won the game. So I guess I'll take the word of an opposing coordinator of a championship defense that Purdy is legit. The Niners have themselves their franchise Quarterback. They just need to bolster their offensive line in the draft because those guys didn't play well and the Chiefs were able to get pressure in the second half that led to the Niners stalling out on drives that could have put the game away.

JR. I don't disagree that Purdy played well this season, but the 49ers controlled both sides of the line in the first half. They should have taken better advantage of that and had at least 10 more points at halftime. Because that can change and it did. I don't think you can put the whole game on the O line. IMHO

You can't put the whole game on them but they didn't play a good game. The Chiefs defense routinely put pressure on Purdy in the second half and the Niners went away from a balanced approach which got them into third and longs which is tough to covert on a stingy defense like that. I thought Purdy played well but they should have used CMC more in the third Quarter. Those three and outs killed them in that Quarter and then the Chiefs took advantage of every break they got whereas the Niners didn't which to me was the difference in the game.

Purdy sucked against green bay and was decent against the lions. Again he's a regular season player like Alex Rodriguez was. He's on the by far best team. This entire block of time niners are forming into the marv levy bills but worse cause bills were underdogs
