We should be able to hire neighborhood kids. I think kids are just lazy these days.

I couldn’t even tell you how many of our neighbors lawns I mowed when I was a kid, so I could buy my comic books and sports cards.

I never see kids mowing lawns around here. Lazy fukks.

When I had a broken foot, I offered the next door neighbor kid $20 to mow my yard. No edgeing or shrub work. Just push my mower around the yard. Takes me about 25 minutes max.

He said he'd do it for $50. Smart kid trying to make a deal. I said nope.
He came back the next day and said he'd do it for $40. I said nope.

The wife ended up mowing one evening. Cost me $100.

The truly scary part is the amount of these guys getting arrested behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler.

I got no problem with illegals working as lumpers - again let’s be honest - it’s hard work and it’s hard to find anyone who will do it for $15-18 an hour especially 3rd shift. But it’s quite another thing when you’re putting a guy who can’t understand English lacks any level of training behind the wheel of 80,000# of metal and trust them to not kill innocent people.
