Wow! That seemed to last forever. I've been in several earthquakes when I lived in California and some were of that strength but none ever lasted that long.

It's sad to hear about so many deaths. I hadn't heard anything about deaths from my friends in Cebu so I figured it wasn't too bad. I wonder if these deaths happened in weak structures.
Looks like it is.. from regular houses and weak buildings.

Hey @Tanko just letting you know you can get sued in this day and age if you can prove your feelings were hurt. If you forget my birthday “again” you will be hearing from my lawyer. I can prove stress and harm from you. I am the only poster last year you forgot. I still have emotional damage from last year.

In general, you can't sue someone just for hurting your feelings unless their actions involve defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, or harassment. I will try to remember.
I know its sometime between the 18th and 20th but I can't remember the exact date. ;)
