I can find 100+ vids right now of current & former NBA players who say differently and choose Kobe over Lebron

Definitely Far more who choose Kobe over LeBron than vive Versa

I’m not saying I necessarily agree or disagree. I’ve just seen it on a regular basis. Most NBA players past & present choose Kobe over LeBron, it’s just a fact

I think if you held a poll that wouldn’t be the case

Kobe has infinitely better branding than LeBron and his style of play is more fun to watch / try to emulate

But as far as actual impact on the game Kobe is nowhere near LeBron

MJ/Lebron are clearly top 2, Kareem a clear #3

After that it gets fairy subjective

Almost all NBA players playing now grew up idolizing Kobe

Just like 20 years ago all the players of the day grew up idolizing Jordan

I’m not sure LeBron has the idol status Jordan and Kobe did

Bird and Magic obviously idol status (folks usually liked one or the other) in the years before Jordan emerged
