I've told this story here before. Remember it like it was today.

2011 World Series (Texas Vs StL). Game 6 $5K on Rangers.
I'm sitting in the South Point sportsbook watching the game.

• Rangers are ahead 7-5 in bottom of the 9th with 2 outs on the Cardinals.
• Feliz (Texas Reliever) puts two guys on base and Freese was at bat for Cardinals.
• 1-2 count w/ two outs.
  I'm walking to the counter to cash my ticket on the next pitch.
• BUT NO... Freese hits a triple to tie the game.
• Goes into extra innings.
  
  
• Top of the 10th Rangers get 2 runs and lead 9-7 and we go to the bottom with Cardinals up.
• It's 8-9 after a cardinals run and Lance Berkman was up.
• There are 2 outs and its a 2-2 count.
  I'm walking to the counter to cash my ticket on the next pitch.
• Berkman hits a single to tie the game and we got to the 13th and Rangers end up losing.

I was crushed not because the money lost but because of the way I lost it TWICE.

Wow - Is 5k your normal bet size? That's a crazy bad beat for sure but still a heck of a game to watch

Definitely the worst beat I've ever taken. Hopefully nothing ever tops it.

whom did Mahomes lose other than Hill though? big loss for sure. But he picked up Rice the rookie. I just think his wide outs under performed this year including Kelce. see what happens.

On a more serious note, you mentioned a 100k bankroll. Have you experienced any effects of 'max bet size' yet? Suppose you do well, and upgrade your goals to a 1000k bankroll, and hit that as well in a few years. Putting down 100k to win 50k will be a challenge even on a game like THIS, let alone your every day stuff.

What's your best case scenario? Will you set a new target after hitting 100k or will you just buy Bitcoin or INJ tokens and leave yourself 5-10k to try and do it all again?

I don’t wanna get a head of myself. Would like to get to 100K & bet 5-10% each play on the regular for my best bets. I’ve always been a little more aggressive with amounts according standard 1-3% per wager regarding most pros. I bet less games so I can sustain it at least in the last two years of doing this.
