People shouldn't be afraid of retirement (as though its dying). My dad taught me its just like another job except the work that you do is the work YOU WANT TO DO when you want to do it and not what someone else tells you what to do.

He said, its something you will get used to doing, just like a new profession in life. The stuff you're concerned about and stress over changes from high level stuff like, "Damn, I better get that project done and be successful or I may get fired" to.... "What am I going to have for lunch today".

I look forward to it.

He's passed. He was 63 when he retired I think.
