Yes, it lasts for 7 days but most places are closed for 10 days, depending on the place. Fireworks all over the country and in most different districts. I have never seen anything like it to be honest. Like I had mentioned before, I lived in China for a bit and I experienced Chinese New Year and the celebration here and how passionate people are , are second to none over China.

I took this last night, very famous Church in Hanoi. St. Joseph's Cathedral. One of my local bookies lives around the corner from here. I had to go to settle up.

In Vietnam many women wear traditional dresses called "Áo dài" Depending the area of Vietnam many girls in High School will wear it to school everyday. You will see many women wearing it daily to their work depends what field they are in . It mainly worn for special occasions but lots women wear it for greeting people at nicer restaurants, functions many different reasons and formal occasions. My last 3 girlfriends have worn Áo dài for work on a daily basis , so it just depends the field they are in. However, you will see this everyday of your life being worn by a woman if you live in Vietnam in some aspect or other. Women look very sexy in Áo dài.
