Clap back at the bitch, when the cops show up tell them you smelled weed on his breath (but use the word "marijuana") and that you want to talk to his supervisor. If your request is granted, ask the supervisor how to file a complaint and do so. If not, get his name before you leave and file one online. There's a decent chance that something is in his system and if he gets tested, he'll probably be canned. I did this about 14 years ago in Oakland and when I faked outrage and asked for his boss, the chump's face dropped like a rock. I don't know if he got fired or not but I went to four or five more games the rest of the season, sat near the same section and didn't see him once.
You did the right thing. Great idea. I am sending an email also with detail of what happened. Funny you said that about the weed complaint cause he appeared very red and a little drunk. I am going to say that.
I did talk back and that is when the cop came back to the section and more cops came to the top of the stairs. I never yelled or really lost my cool. 4 cops for 1 of me with another 3 "security" guys also at the top.
I wasn't kicked out cause I was not belligerent but I was told "Not Today" and "It's too hot" repeatedly by the main cop in the area. I also filed a complaint as supervisors came over and talked to me in the back. They were apologetic after I explained everything. They also realized I was not just causing trouble with my 70 year old Mom. Plus they could see she was older and highly offended/bothered. Unfortunately my Mom was upset and still wanted to leave. She was shaken for being spoken to that way and just disliked the whole scenario.
JJ, if I hit him first I am in jail. It is not as simple anymore. Guy knew that. Older prick. At one point I said let's go to outside the stadium and discuss this further. Of course, jack off cop is there to now de-escalate and said it was not a good idea, etc. I held back from answering him cause that would get me in Mets jail (no joke). Cop became more of a jack off as the few minutes went on. Badge and gun strength
That is the problem with most cops. Instead of actually asking what is happening and talking, they just want to appear tough and focus on my response, not the whole scenario. The stadium worker knew he had that backing. Like I am just going to yell and my mom is going to be upset for no reason. It took the stadium workers at the top of the section to actually talk thru what happened.
So I spent $40 for parking and $30 on food to only leave before the bottom of the 3rd. They were $304 tickets x 2 people so $608. Season tickets for my company. I am not mad as I am proud my Mom stuck up for both of us as she responded first. It was only when the guy was still being a dick did I get involved.
