100% agree. The "home grown" teams are the long-term best teams in MLB. They then add 1 or 2 at the trade deadline to resolve gaps and go far in the playoffs each year.

Astros have been the most successful at this lately.

That GM got screwed. The owner is taking advice on player moves from Biggio, Bagwell, and Reggie Jackson. Why? Those where his baseball idols. What a joke.

I’m betting in 2-3 years Astros will start losing more due to the owner acting like Jerry Jones.
